By default, voicemail notifications are sent to the primary email address associated with the account. However, you can easily customise this destination for individual lines or shared numbers.
How to Update a Specific User
Log In: Access your Online Dashboard.
Select User: Click Users on the left-hand menu and click on the name of the specific user you wish to update.
Navigate: Click the Calls tab and scroll down to the Voicemail section.
Update: Enter the new email address in the Voicemail Email field and click Save.
Note: This process must be repeated for each individual user or line you wish to change.
⚠️ Sending Voicemails to Multiple People
To keep our system fast and secure, our platform is designed to send voicemail notifications to one email address per line. If you need a recording to reach multiple team members simultaneously, we recommend the following "Best Practice" setup:
Use a Central Address: Enter one central "Company" or "Department" email address in the ONSIM portal (e.g.,
sales@yourcompany.com).Use a Distribution List: Within your own email provider (such as Outlook, Gmail, or Microsoft 365), set up a Distribution Group or a Forwarding Rule.
Automatic Delivery: Your email server will then automatically "broadcast" the ONSIM recording to every member of that group as soon as it arrives.
