The short answer is no. To port a landline or mobile number to ONSIM, you must first have an active service on our network.
Think of your ONSIM SIM (or virtual landline) as the "destination" for your old number. We cannot move your number until that destination is ready and active.
The Porting Process (Step-by-Step)
Order Your Service: If you haven't already, Order Your ONSIM SIM Here.
Activate Your SIM: Follow the [Physical SIM Activation Guide] or [eSIM Activation Guide] to get your temporary ONSIM number live.
Submit Your Port Request: Once your ONSIM service is working, you can request to move your existing number over.
Ready to Port?
Once your OnSim service is active, please follow the specific guide for the type of number you are moving:
π [Landline Porting Guide] β Use this if you are moving a geographic number (e.g., 01, 02) or a non-geographic number (03).
π [Mobile Porting Guide] β Use this if you are moving a mobile number (starting with 07).
π‘ Pro Tip: Do not cancel your contract with your previous provider until the porting process is complete. Your old service must remain active for the number to move successfully.
