Porting Timelines: What to Expect
Transferring your number to ONSIM is a straightforward process, though timescales vary depending on the type of number you are moving.
1. Landline Numbers
Average Timeline: Approximately 10–14 working days once we receive your completed form and initial checks are finalised.
Variable Factors: Because landline porting involves coordination between multiple network carriers, we cannot guarantee a specific completion date. Exceptional cases may occasionally result in longer wait times.
2. Mobile Numbers
Average Timeline: Usually completed within 48 working hours after we receive your correct PAC code and details.
The Transfer Window: On the scheduled day, the actual "switch" typically results in a very brief service downtime.
Potential Delays: While rare, exceptional circumstances or incorrect information (such as PAC code typos) can delay the process.
