Looking to port a landline number instead? View the Landline Porting Guide here.
To transfer your existing mobile number to ONSIM, please email support@onsim.uk with the following two pieces of information:
The Mobile Number you wish to port.
A Valid PAC Code (Porting Authorisation Code).
Getting Your PAC Code
You must request this code from your current provider.
β οΈ Critical Note on Formatting: Please provide your PAC code exactly as it appears. PAC codes are case-sensitive. For example, if your provider gives you ABC12345P and it is submitted as abc12345p, the port will fail. We reserve the right to pass on any charges incurred due to failed ports caused by incorrect information.
Timeline & Expectations
Transfer Time: Porting typically takes 48 working hours once we have received the correct information.
On the Day: We cannot guarantee a specific time for the transfer. You will experience a very brief period of downtime (approximately 2 minutes) when the switch occurs.
Keep Your Service Active: Do not cancel your contract with your old provider until we confirm the port is complete. If you cancel early, you risk losing the number entirely.
Porting Fees
First Port: We cover the cost of your first mobile number port.
Subsequent Ports: Any additional mobile ports are chargeable.
Failed Ports: If a port fails because the wrong mobile number or PAC code was provided, the associated network charges will be passed on to you.
