While your ONSIM SIM is fully capable of International Roaming, this feature is blocked by default for your protection.
To ensure you remain connected without the risk of "bill shock," your service is restricted to our Home Zone (UK, EU, and USA). This safeguard is designed to prevent unexpected high-frequency charges that can occur when a device connects to international networks automatically.
1. The Home Zone (Active by Default)
Your SIM is automatically enabled for use in the following regions:
United Kingdom
European Union (EU)
United States of America (USA)
2. Roaming Outside the Home Zone
If you are traveling to a country outside of the UK, EU, or USA, you must request that roaming be enabled for that specific zone.
Required Documentation: You must complete the Roaming Authorisation Form located at the bottom of this page.
Submission Deadline: This form must be returned to support@onsim.uk at least 72 working hours before your scheduled travel.
Approval: All requests are subject to a formal review and approval by our Accounts Team.
Rate Verification: You must check the current roaming rates with ONSiM for your specific destination before you travel to avoid unexpected billing.
