đŸ“ļ Is Wi-Fi Calling Supported?

ONSIM

Yes — ONSIM supports Wi-Fi Calling on compatible devices.

Wi-Fi Calling allows you to make and receive calls over a Wi-Fi connection when mobile signal is weak or unavailable. Calls are made using your normal ONSIM mobile number and the standard phone dialler.

What do I need?

To use Wi-Fi Calling with ONSIM:

  • Your phone must be unlocked
  • Your device must be supported by ONSIM
  • VoLTE must be enabled
  • Your device must meet the minimum operating system requirements
  • Wi-Fi Calling must be enabled in your phone's settings

Supported devices

Wi-Fi Calling is currently supported on compatible:

Apple

  • iPhone XR or later
  • iOS 18 or newer is required for Wi-Fi Calling
  • Wi-Fi Calling must be manually enabled

Google

  • Pixel 6 or later
  • Android 16 or newer is required for Wi-Fi Calling

Samsung

  • Compatible Samsung devices running One UI 7 or newer

For the latest list of supported devices and requirements, see our Supported Devices page.

How do I enable Wi-Fi Calling?

The exact steps depend on your phone.

iPhone

Go to:

Settings → Mobile Service → ONSIM → Wi-Fi Calling

Then enable Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone.

Android

The location of the setting varies between manufacturers and models.

Look under:

Settings → Connections / Network & Internet → Wi-Fi Calling

and enable Wi-Fi Calling.

You may also need to enable VoLTE in your phone's settings.

How does Wi-Fi Calling work?

When your phone has a suitable Wi-Fi connection, it can use Wi-Fi to connect your calls instead of relying on the mobile network.

This can be particularly useful when you are:

  • Inside buildings with poor mobile reception
  • In areas with limited mobile coverage
  • Connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network

Your calls continue to use your normal ONSIM mobile number and phone dialler.

Is Wi-Fi Calling included?

Yes. Wi-Fi Calling uses your normal ONSIM mobile service, so calls are treated in the same way as calls made over the mobile network and use your plan's normal allowances where applicable.

Having trouble?

First check that:

  1. Your phone is on the latest supported software.
  2. Your phone is unlocked.
  3. VoLTE is enabled.
  4. Wi-Fi Calling is enabled.
  5. Your device is listed on our [Supported Devices] page.
  6. You are connected to a working Wi-Fi network.

If Wi-Fi Calling still isn't working after checking these settings, please contact ONSIM Support.
