If you have call recording enabled on your line but need to make or receive a confidential call that should not be captured, you can manually disable the recording feature via your dashboard.
β How to Disable Recording
Login: Access your account at app.onsim.uk.
Select Users: Click Users in the left-hand menu.
Choose User: Select the user who needs to make the confidential call.
Subscription Tab: Navigate to the Subscriptions tab.
Deactivate Calls: Under the Call Recording section, untick the box next to Calls and click Save.
This will immediately stop all calls from being recorded on that specific line.
β οΈ Important: Resuming Recording
Recording will remain off until you manually re-enable it. Once your confidential conversation is over, you must remember to:
Log back into the dashboard.
Navigate to the user's Subscription tab.
Reselect the checkbox next to Calls and click Save to ensure all future business calls are recorded for compliance and training.

If you frequently need to make confidential calls, consider using a separate "unrecorded" line or mobile number if your business setup allows, to avoid the risk of forgetting to toggle recording back on.
