Our standard bundles are designed for standard UK mobile and landline usage (numbers starting with 01, 02, 03, and 07). Here is everything you need to know about calling Premium Rate numbers.
1. Are Premium Rate Calls Included?
No. Calls to Premium Rate numbers (such as those starting with 084, 087, 09, or 118) are not included in our standard minutes and SMS bundles. These calls incur a per-minute service charge set by the provider, plus an access charge.
2. Why are Premium Rate Calls Blocked?
By default, Premium Rate calling is blocked on all new accounts. We implement this as a security measure to protect our customers from unexpectedly high charges, "bill shock," or fraudulent activity.
3. How to Enable Premium Rate Calling
If your business requires the ability to dial Premium Rate numbers, you can request to have this restriction lifted. This requires a formal review by our team:
Required Documentation: You must complete the UK Premium Rate Calling Request Form found at the bottom of this guide.
Approval Process: Once completed, please return the form to support@onsim.uk.
Account Review: Our accounts team will review your application to determine if the restriction can be removed for your account.
