🔄 What are the differences between Divert and SIM mode?

1. Divert Mode

In Divert Mode, your business landline acts like a "pointer." When someone calls your landline, the call is instantly pushed to your existing mobile number.

  • Setup: Instant. No changes to your phone are required.

  • How it feels: Your mobile rings just like a normal call.

  • Fair Usage: Includes 2,500 inbound minutes per month.

  • Inbound Calls: Your mobile rings just like a normal call as it diverts through to the number you have set up.

  • Outbound Calls: Not available. To make calls showing your landline number, you must upgrade to our full Landline SIM plan.

2. SIM Mode

In SIM Mode, we provide you with a digital eSIM (or a physical SIM) that you add to your phone alongside your current personal SIM. This essentially turns your mobile into a Dual-SIM business device.

  • Setup: Requires a supported handset

  • How it feels: When your phone rings, the screen will explicitly show "Business Line" (or whatever label you choose), so you know exactly how to answer.

  • Fair Usage: Includes a higher limit of 5,000 inbound minutes per month.

  • Inbound Calls: When your phone rings, the screen will explicitly show "Business Line", so you know exactly how to answer.

  • Outbound Calls: Not available. To make calls showing your landline number, you must upgrade to our full Landline SIM plan.

Need to make outbound calls?

The £5 Virtual Landline service is designed for inbound calls only. If you want the ability to call customers and have your landline number appear on their screen as your outbound Caller ID, you need our Landline SIM.
