Using 2FA greatly improves your security when logging into your ONSIM portal and we highly recommend enabling it especially where you are using our call & sms recording services.
You can read more about 2FA and the benefits in our blog post here:

How to enable 2FA for login:
Firstly you are going to want to choose an authenticator app and install it on your phone, if you haven't done so already. We recommend either the Google Authenticator app or the Microsoft Authenticator App (links below):
- Google Authenticator App Android - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.authenticator2&hl=en_GB
- Google Authenticator App iOS - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/google-authenticator/id388497605
- Microsoft (links to both) - https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security/mobile-authenticator-app
- Login to your account here (https://app.onsim.uk/login) as usual using your username and password.
- Navigate to Settings->Two-factor Authentication, turn the slider to the [ON] position. Then click submit.
- This will log you out of the system and start the 2FA setup flow (see video below).
- Enter your existing username and password.
- On the next step, either scan the QR code or manually enter the activation code in your chosen authenticator app.
- Enter the one-time code generated by the authenticator app.
- As long as the details are correct you will be logged in.
- On all subsequent logins you will be asked to provide your username, password and the one-time code from your authenticator app which is usually rotated every 30/60 seconds.
How to login using 2FA:
- Navigate to https://app.onsim.uk/login
- Login using your username and password.
- Provide the one-time pass code from your authenticator app.
- Providing your credentials are correct, you will be granted access to the system.
How to disable 2FA (not recommended):
- Login to your account using the 2FA process.
- Navigate to Settings->Two-factor Authentication, turn the slider to the [OFF] position. Then click submit.
- On subsequent logins you will only be required to provide username and password for access.
2FA Troubleshooting/FAQ:
What happens if I loose access to my authenticator app?
You will need to pass manual security - usually this involves a video call with a member of our team so we can verify you and your ID on the call. We can then reset your access. Please note this takes time to setup and can only be done during office hours so make sure to migrate your authenticator app when purchasing a new mobile phone.
Is 2FA on ONSIM mandatory?
Not yet - but we strongly recommend using this feature particularly if you are using our call/SMS recording service. We may make this feature mandatory in future.
