Transferring a call on your Mobile
You can transfer an active call from your mobile device using two methods: Blind Transfer or Assisted Transfer.
Blind transfer
A blind transfer sends the caller directly to the new recipient without any introduction. The recipient will see the call coming in as if the caller dialed them directly.
Whilst in a call you can perform the following steps to transfer a call to another person:
How to perform a Blind Transfer:
While on an active call, dial *21 followed by the destination number.
Press # to complete the transfer.
Your call will disconnect as the two parties are connected.
2. Assisted (Attended) Transfer
An assisted transfer allows you to speak with the recipient privately before connecting the call. This is ideal for screening calls, checking availability, or providing context to your colleague.
How to perform an Assisted Transfer:
While on an active call, dial *22 followed by the destination number.
Note: The original caller will hear hold music or beeps provided by your mobile network while you are away.
Once you have finished speaking with the recipient, simply hang up to connect the two parties.
To cancel: If the recipient doesn't answer or you wish to return to the original caller, dial *23.
