Yes, you can twin a VoIP/desk phone with your ONSIM SIM card. This allows both devices to share the same number and ring simultaneously.
How Twinning Works
When your service is twinned, it operates as a single line across two devices.
One Call at a Time: Because they share a line, only one call can be active.
Busy Routing: If you are on a call on your mobile and a second caller tries to reach you, they will receive a "busy" signal or be sent to your voicemail. The desk phone will not ring while the SIM is in use.
Need to Handle Multiple Calls?
If your business requires you to handle more than one call at once (e.g., putting one person on hold to answer another), we recommend a Separate Line setup:
Dedicated VoIP Line: We set up the desk phone with its own separate "Base Plan."
Multi-Tasking: This allows the desk phone and the SIM to act independently, enabling multiple concurrent calls.

Using an Existing Handset
If you already own a VoIP desk phone and would like to use it with your ONSIM service, we are happy to help you get it connected.
Compatibility Check: Not all handsets are compatible with every network. Please email support@onsim.uk with the make and model of your device, and our team will verify if it can be used.

Setup Options: If your device is compatible, you have two ways to get started:
Self-Configuration: We can provide you with the necessary SIP Credentials so you can configure the device yourself.

Professional Remote Setup: We can schedule a session for an ONSIM engineer to log in to your device remotely and configure it for you.
Please note: There is a service charge for professional remote configuration.

VoIP quality depends on your internet speed. Before contacting us, please run a speed test on the connection you plan to use for the desk phone.
