If you are switching phones, you’ll need to generate a fresh QR code.
Important: An eSIM can only be active on one device at a time.
Step 1: Prepare your old device
Before generating a new code, you must delete the existing eSIM profile from your current phone's settings. If you are not able to do this you will need to email support@onsim.uk for assistance as you may need to purchase a new SIM.
Step 2: Generate your new QR code
Log in to app.onsim.uk.
Select Users from the left-hand menu.
Click on the User Name that requires the new eSIM.
Switch to the Profile tab.
Under the eSIM section, click the purple Generate button.
💡 Tip: If the "Generate" button in the next steps is greyed out, it means the old eSIM is still detected. Delete it and refresh your browser to generate the new QR code.
Step 3: Install on your new phone
A new QR code will appear on your screen. You can now scan this with your new device to complete the setup.
