The Hold feature allows you to pause your current conversation to take another call or step away briefly. While a caller is on hold, they will typically hear your system's hold music.
Note: Only one call can be active at a time. To start a second call, you must place your current call on hold first.
Placing a Call on Hold
During an active call, press the Hold soft key (located at the bottom of the screen).
Verify: The screen will display "Held" or show a pause icon next to the caller's ID.
Resuming a Call
Ensure the call you want to retrieve is highlighted on the screen.
Press the Resume soft key.
Managing Multiple Calls on Hold
If you have more than one person on hold, you can easily toggle between them:
Use the Up or Down navigation arrows (the central directional pad) to scroll through the list of held calls.
Highlight the caller you wish to speak with.
Press the Resume soft key.
If you are already on a call and a second one comes in, pressing Answer will automatically place your first caller on hold.
