You'll need to enable VoLTE (turn it on) to use VoLTE service anywhere it's available, and to use your phone on LTE networks (in the United States).
If you are having issues receiving inbound calls, the first thing you should check is that VOLTE is enable.
To turn VoLTE on or off, follow the steps for your phone below.
On Android devices, the settings and operating systems vary slightly from one model to another. Below you'll find the most common settings to enable VoLTE.
Apple iPhone
- Go to Settings > Mobile Data > TAP landline Sim
- Tap Voice & Data.
- Tap the VoLTE toggle to turn it on or off.
Samsung Galaxy
- Open the Settings app on your home screen or app drawer, or slide down from the top of your screen.
- Tap Connections > Mobile networks.
- Tap the VoLTE calls toggle to turn it on or off.
LG
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Network & Internet > Mobile Networks.
- Tap the VoLTE toggle to turn it on or off.
Motorola
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Network & Internet > Mobile Network.
- Tap the VoLTE toggle to turn it on or off.
TCL
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Sim Card & Mobile Network or Mobile Network.
- Tap the VoLTE toggle to turn it on or off.
